Pella's architectural scholarship program was
established in 1985 to recognize outstanding students. Pella values the
vital contribution architects make to the world around us and is proud to
honor the top students who will soon be entering the workforce, adding to
the life-improving benefits provided by the architectural community.
The Pella program awards scholarships to 3rd, 4th, and
5th year architecture students at American universities accredited by the
National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) or Canadian universities
accredited by the Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB). It is
designed to further the students' and the schools' understanding of
architecture with an emphasis on quality fenestration design.
The scholarship program is a collaboration between
participating Pella sales branches and Pella Corporation. Guidelines for
awarding the scholarships are determined by the school and the local Pella
sales branch. Most scholarships are awarded on either performance or project
basis and the winner or winners typically receive a stipend for tuition
support, scholarship for travel, and/or study grant.
